Vintage Faith Church Communion Service

Here are a few things to pass on to anyone interested in coming to Vintage Faith's Easter sunset service at 5:30 PM Sunday afternoon at the Tennessee River. We will set sail at 6:00 PM sharp.

1. Children are welcome. Children 12 and under need to bring their own life preserver and MUST keep it on at all times while on board--that's the law. Also parents must be responsible for their children.

2. Everyone must wear slip resistant, rubber sole shoes, tennis shoes are fine.

3. We are docked at River Marina in Decatur (just across the Hudson Bridge on Highway 31) come all the way around by The Hard Dock Cafe. It's the large house boat with the blue stripes.

4. Everyone please bring your favorite beverage (soft drinks, tea, punch) and a food item. We will have bottled water, coffee, ice, paper plates, napkins, and cups.

5. Call Tim and leave him a message at 351-8679. If someone isn't sure until Saturday, that's okay, but just inform us as soon as possible. We can handle about 40 people, and we don't have a clue--at this moment--how many will attend.

If anyone has an amplifier, or a "Mr. Microphone" or something similar we could use, it would be extremely helpful.

We also will need 45 gallons of gas. We have 4, five gallon containers that we can use.

Thanks much,
Jackie Patterson, Tim Craig
