After Service Thoughts 5-28-06
There are times when you know God is speaking through someone, and this past Sunday God spoke through Don Lacy, our Vietnam Vet. We all knew it too. Our eyes proved it. We cried when he spoke.
He made us feel blessed to live in a country where men and women like Don Lacy have served, not for glory, but for freedom—our freedom. The freedom I have to share this with you—the freedom to say what I please about our Lord who also served, not for glory, but for our freedom from sin and death. May we never forget what Don shared about Him.
Thank you, Don. You blessed us. You proved to us that the best men cry when it comes to the freedom we have in Christ.
