Vintage Faith Church is Moving to a New Location!
I've got some bad news that is really good news. We have lost our lease at the Hospice building. We have to be out by the end of August. The 27th will be our last Sunday.
This comes as a blow. But I've seen this happen before at my old church. We lost our lease, and then found a ten times better situation behind the local mall. So I see this as God taking us to the next step. We were about to outgrow that building in a couple of months anyway. So I'm not despondent, but excited to see what God is going to do.
Our first step will be contacting the congregation that meets at the old Catholic church to see if they would be interested in sharing space with us. We could do an early service. Maybe 9:30 to 10:30. Something like that. So I'll keep you posted.
In the meantime everyone be in prayer. Ask God to open the right door. We've been led by God from the very start, and I know that he will lead us now. We only need to trust him.
If you have any ideas, please contact one of us.

All For One Service
We're having an All-For-One Sunday service on August 20th. I'd like for everyone who attends Vintage Faith to make a pledge to be there on August 20th. We want to get everyone together on the same Sunday so we can all be behind our church in prayer and unity.
So if you attend Vintage Faith make no other plans for August 20th at 10:00 AM. I want you to cancel all other plans of laziness and despondency so you can be with us. If you are exhausted after a long work week, we'll provide a cot for you.
Don't let your church down. We need you!

Church Fellowship and Baptism at 4:00 pm August 20th
Plan to attend our church wide fellowship and baptism at 4:00 p.m. at Martha Mark’s river house on the Tennessee River. You will be getting updates over the next few weeks on how you can be involved and bring food. We are in need of a large grill if anyone has one. If anyone is interested in being baptized, please contact Pastor

Sermon Series
We've started a new sermon series, "All the Mountains of the Bible." We'll be studying what I call a manmade mountain--The Tower of Babel. If you remember, this is where God confused their work by language barriers. Before the Tower of Babel there was only one language. So come and learn how all of this happened.

Hey Robbie, I think this is just another great stepping stone for Vintage Faith Church. I know that God will guide us where he wants us to be. We just to have faith. Lets just remember that this is not a set back, but a stepping stone. Have a great day and I'll see you Sunday. Don Lacy
