So Grateful

Hi Robbie,

When I left church last Sunday, my heart was bursting with pride.

For CCC we had 3 huge bags of bread and 3 bags of canned and boxed food.

For Hope Place we had $950 of Walmart cards donated from 5% of our quarterly offerings and a big box of greeting card donated by Amy Patterson. 

One coat, one jacket, and a sack full of warm flannel clothes for the homeless and 3 more cell phones for the battered women and elderly to use as emergency contacts.

On top of that, what Renee Hadavi told us in church about the troubled teenagers you are reaching through your writing class. Those young people are tough to reach, given their upbringing and environment.  I think you have hit on a way to reach them.  

I think our little church is making a difference in our community. I am so proud to be a part of Vintage Faith Church.

I am the facilities coordinator for the Hope Place and I can tell you the gift cards you donated are one of the most useful donations you can give to our residents! Also, I have had the best time sorting through the cards you gave us-they are just awesome!! In fact our residents are using the thank you cards to thank the those who are helping them rebuild their lives. Thank you so much for helping the Hope Place.
